It's the first of the month! Or, more like the 4th...In this week's blog I will talk about the reason why I don't have any updates on my map. Yay, procrastination!...As well as my plans for the future.
So this isn't really about my time as a motorcyclist or anything. If only, right? The look on your faces if I was. Sorry, but in this post I will talk about my short time in the industry with WePlay.Media. This is a continuation of the 1/28/16 post. Warning, it's a bit long. tl;dr at the bottom.
Yeah, no clever title this week. Sorry, guys. I didn't add or do too much this week. Even though I did not add much, I will talk about what I did do, and where I plan to go.
Here it is! That thing you have been waiting all week for! You can't fool me, I know you sit there waiting anxiously for another update of my life, among possibly other things. Or not. Regardless, I like having you guys here. Without further adieu, let's get started.
Hello and welcome back to another week of tales featuring my shenanigans. This week I will be showing off my updated Killing Floor map. Updates of what comes next, as well as my boring tales of adventure.
Hey, guys! See, OP delivered. In this post, I'll be discussing a few big design decisions I've made with my current project.
Hello, and welcome to the fourth installment of my blog! I hope everyone had a very safe and fun New Year's. With that, let's get started.
Hello, and (almost) Happy New Year, everyone! Thanks for coming back and reading about another week in the life of me and my ventures. I figured that I would talk more about my Killing Floor map this week.
Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my second week with this whole blogging thing. First thing I'd like to say is: Happy Holidays!
So, I sort of messed up. I typed this long blog post, and forgot to save, or publish it...cause Weebly is weird with what they choose to save while you are working. The blog and the other site stuff is very different. So, I'll make this short.
I decided to start a blog! A blog about all of my misadventures of being a game designer. All of my challenges will be summed up weekly for (hopefully) your enjoyment. It also give me a chance to archive how I've grown as a designer and a person. That's the goal. So, let's get into it. The first thing I'd like to talk about it my Killing Floor 2 level! I've already started on it a few weeks back, and I've been touching on it a few times a week. Feels more like a short hobby than anything and I love it. Tripwire (the company that made the game) and the modding community have contributed a lot for people to refer to so it's been great. However, projects are not without their hurdles. So far, I've encountered things like corrupted files, broken lights, and broken editor. I hope to cover these things more in depth in my later posts. But overall, I enjoy this project. Working in UDK has been sort of a pain, but it's alright. I can't wait to update you all on it. I promise I'll post pictures later on. Second! And most of you already know because of my landing page, but I'm going to GDC 2016 this year! I am very excited with anticipation. It's an event that I dreamed of going to when I grew up following the events. What my goal is for the conference is to have fun and meet all sorts of people. I enjoy making connections, and talking games in general. It should be a great time. To kick things off I registered for the event, as well as designed and printed my business card. March can't get here fast enough. So this was my first blog post. Like I said, it was a lot longer, but saving issues came up. You'd think a person like me would know better, but I guess some habits don't die. Nothing but new learning experiences everyday. I plan on posting more about my projects, and things that affect me. I'll TRY to post something at least once a week. I need to be consistent. Thanks for taking the time for reading my first post, and I hope to hear from you soon. |
